The Mice's Twelve Days of Christmas

The Mice’s Twelve Days of Christmas

Zack, Ed, Max, Lily and Moff were thinking of preparations.

On the first day of Christmas, they made a snowman. After they were done making it, they put a scarf, hat, sticks for arms, coal for a mouth and eyes, buttons, and a carrot for a nose.

On the second day of Christmas they got a tree. The tree was a little tall, so they trimmed it. Then they put ornaments on the tree. Last they put on the star.

On the third day of Christmas, they decorated their house. They had lots of things to do. They put wreaths, bows and pretend icicles and Christmas lights.

On the fourth day of Christmas, they thought of stories to tell. Zack said they should think of Jesus.

On the fifth day of Christmas, Moff said they should make cookies. They rolled out the dough. They cooked them in the oven and then they got to decorate them. They each ate one.

On the sixth day of Christmas, Lily said they should make a craft. Moff said we should make snowflakes. They cut all sorts of shapes. They cut circles, squares, hearts, diamonds, and even hexagons.

On the seventh day of Christmas, they hung their stockings up. Ed said they should hang up their stockings because Santa would bring oranges, candy canes, and other goodies and presents.

On the eighth day of Christmas, they went caroling. Zack said they should sing “Silent Night”. And, Moff said they should sing “Jingle Bells”. So, they went caroling.

On the ninth day of Christmas, they made snow angels.

On the tenth day, they went skating at the lake.

On the eleventh day, they had parties with friends, cousins, uncles and aunts. They had lots of fun!

On the twelfth day of Christmas, they woke up. They saw that there were Christmas presents in their stockings and under their tree. They loved them very much. We had a great twelve days of Christmas!

The Great Safari

Once upon a time, there was a brave rhino named Ed, who lived on a safari with lots of other animals. Ed was walking and minding his own business, when he met a meerkat named Figgest. Figgest was eating grass. Figgest said, "Watch out! There's an alligator named Max. He's in a little creek."

Max was in the little stream, waiting for Leaper the antelope to walk by. As how he planned, Leaper came trotting by. As soon as Max was ready to take a big bite, he opened up his moth. Max crawled over a little bit and started to chomp, but Leaper was too fast for Max to take a good, giant bite.

Max got very mad that he missed Leaper. he started to follow Leaper, then Leaper ran really fast and hi in his home. Ed walked by to Max and said, "Do you want to eat Leaper?" "Yes!" said Max. Ed was about to take a big swing with his horns. Max hid under the water. Ed's horns whipped so fast he fell down. Then, Ed got back up. Ed went to Snore, the lion, and said, "Can you go get that stupid mongey poach, Max?" Snore got up and walked over to Max's stream. The lion roared and Max knew that he was going to get him. This time he dug the river deeper, so he could hide better when Snore and Ed came back to get him.

Meanwhile, Splash, the elephant, was in his pool of water with Thunderfoot the hippo. They were playing. Splash was getting his trunk full of water to spray Thunderfoot. Thunderfoot splashed the water to splash Splash.

Figgest and Leaper were tumbling by Slash and Thunderfoot's pool. Thunderfoot said, "What are you doing near our pool?" So, Leaper ran away with Figgest on his back before Thunderfoot could even finish what he was saying.

Then, Ed came over to Max's stream and saw that Max had dug deeper in his stream. So, Ed got his horns and stretched his body out wide. He got Max out and dropped  him. Then he got his horns and whipped him. Max couldn't get up because Ed was standing on him. Ed quickly called Snore to eat him. Snore ate Max. And, all the animals on the safari were safe.
