Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

One day, there were a bunch of bad guys chasing April. Just then, four turtles arrived and then attacked them. April was shocked. She always thought they were only on television. Their master was named Splinter. One turtle’s name was Raphael. The other turtle’s name was Leonardo. The third one was named Donatello. The fourth one was named Michelangelo. They all said, “Welcome to our home!” April said, “You live here?”

The turtles and April went out of the sewer onto a street. They jumped onto a truck. There were a bunch of TV screens. There was a strange guy on each one. He had a bunch of armor on like a soldier. Donatello said, “Who is this guy?” Michelangelo said, “He looks like a soldier.” But who they were looking at was the enemy of the turtles. His name was Shredder. Then they jumped off the truck and went back into the sewer.

Shredder wanted to defeat them. Inside, his robot was talking to Krang. Shredder said “How should I defeat the turtles?” Krang said, “Hmmmm, you need more weapons.” “No, that’s not what I need. I need animals to defeat these turtles. They are not one match for me; I’ve seen their battles against those other guys that I sent.”

Shredder went to the zoo and found some animals. He saw a warthog. He released it and put it into the robot. Then he looked for another animal. He found a rhino and he dropped it into the robot. Then he thought of names. “Hmmm, I’ll name the warthog Bebop,” he said. Then he looked at the rhino. “I should name him Rocksteady.” Then he had his two animals. He dressed them in armor. “Now the turtles will never defeat me,” Shredder said.

While the turtles, April and Splinter were walking around in the sewer, they saw the robot. The robot saw them. Leonardo went inside the robot. Leonardo said, “Come on everybody, I think this is where Shredder is. I think we can defeat him.” They walked into the main room. The walls started to meet together. Turtles were trying to push it away. But then, Michelangelo saw something. Let’s unplug that. They took it apart, and then the walls went back into position.

Then something strange happened. In one door some of the bricks fell down off the wall. Bebop, Rocksteady, Shredder and the foot soldiers came in. They tried to fight them, but the Ninja Turtles were too strong. They defeated them at once and escaped. Then, they said to April, “I think it’s too dangerous living with us. You should probably go up.” April said, “No, I’ll stay.” So she stayed with them day and night. Then, April made a decision. She thought she should go away. So she went. The turtles disguised themselves as humans and walked to her house. They said “Hi, April.” “Why did you come in? I don’t want to see you anymore,” she said. “We’re just trying to help,” said the turtles.  “Just don’t cause trouble in my house” replied April. “Well, we don’t know what trouble is. We’ll just leave the house” said the turtles.

They walked out. They saw a sign that said “Ninja Pizza”. They walked in. They each wanted yogurt, banana pizza. Then they walked out of the pizza place. They still hadn’t defeated Shredder and his gang. They knew what they had to do. They went back into the sewer. They defeated Shredder and everyone else in the robot. They even defeated Krang. “We’ve defeated everyone!” Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, and Leonardo said. “We’ve done it!” said Master Splinter. “Now let’s go tell April.”

The Mice's Twelve Days of Christmas

The Mice’s Twelve Days of Christmas

Zack, Ed, Max, Lily and Moff were thinking of preparations.

On the first day of Christmas, they made a snowman. After they were done making it, they put a scarf, hat, sticks for arms, coal for a mouth and eyes, buttons, and a carrot for a nose.

On the second day of Christmas they got a tree. The tree was a little tall, so they trimmed it. Then they put ornaments on the tree. Last they put on the star.

On the third day of Christmas, they decorated their house. They had lots of things to do. They put wreaths, bows and pretend icicles and Christmas lights.

On the fourth day of Christmas, they thought of stories to tell. Zack said they should think of Jesus.

On the fifth day of Christmas, Moff said they should make cookies. They rolled out the dough. They cooked them in the oven and then they got to decorate them. They each ate one.

On the sixth day of Christmas, Lily said they should make a craft. Moff said we should make snowflakes. They cut all sorts of shapes. They cut circles, squares, hearts, diamonds, and even hexagons.

On the seventh day of Christmas, they hung their stockings up. Ed said they should hang up their stockings because Santa would bring oranges, candy canes, and other goodies and presents.

On the eighth day of Christmas, they went caroling. Zack said they should sing “Silent Night”. And, Moff said they should sing “Jingle Bells”. So, they went caroling.

On the ninth day of Christmas, they made snow angels.

On the tenth day, they went skating at the lake.

On the eleventh day, they had parties with friends, cousins, uncles and aunts. They had lots of fun!

On the twelfth day of Christmas, they woke up. They saw that there were Christmas presents in their stockings and under their tree. They loved them very much. We had a great twelve days of Christmas!

The Great Safari

Once upon a time, there was a brave rhino named Ed, who lived on a safari with lots of other animals. Ed was walking and minding his own business, when he met a meerkat named Figgest. Figgest was eating grass. Figgest said, "Watch out! There's an alligator named Max. He's in a little creek."

Max was in the little stream, waiting for Leaper the antelope to walk by. As how he planned, Leaper came trotting by. As soon as Max was ready to take a big bite, he opened up his moth. Max crawled over a little bit and started to chomp, but Leaper was too fast for Max to take a good, giant bite.

Max got very mad that he missed Leaper. he started to follow Leaper, then Leaper ran really fast and hi in his home. Ed walked by to Max and said, "Do you want to eat Leaper?" "Yes!" said Max. Ed was about to take a big swing with his horns. Max hid under the water. Ed's horns whipped so fast he fell down. Then, Ed got back up. Ed went to Snore, the lion, and said, "Can you go get that stupid mongey poach, Max?" Snore got up and walked over to Max's stream. The lion roared and Max knew that he was going to get him. This time he dug the river deeper, so he could hide better when Snore and Ed came back to get him.

Meanwhile, Splash, the elephant, was in his pool of water with Thunderfoot the hippo. They were playing. Splash was getting his trunk full of water to spray Thunderfoot. Thunderfoot splashed the water to splash Splash.

Figgest and Leaper were tumbling by Slash and Thunderfoot's pool. Thunderfoot said, "What are you doing near our pool?" So, Leaper ran away with Figgest on his back before Thunderfoot could even finish what he was saying.

Then, Ed came over to Max's stream and saw that Max had dug deeper in his stream. So, Ed got his horns and stretched his body out wide. He got Max out and dropped  him. Then he got his horns and whipped him. Max couldn't get up because Ed was standing on him. Ed quickly called Snore to eat him. Snore ate Max. And, all the animals on the safari were safe.
